"This place was very close to whale watching and the views were awesome to wake up to. It is a 15 to 20 minute drive from downtown which was a major plus being able to get away from the cruise ship visitors and commotion.I really enjoyed being able to drink my coffee on the front deck overlooking the ocean with different birds and fish in the Bay.The host was very gracious and any communication was very easy. The place had everything you could need. It was very cozy and the bed was super comfortable. "

Not only a wealth of information, but a great cook who served us daily breakfast along with sharing stories and information about Juneau. The number of eagles who graced us with their daily presence was incredible. A cozy, comfortable, clean place that was the perfect first part of our Alaskan journey. Thank you John for everything!! "This is a spacious home within walking distance of the Mendenhall Glacier. It took us about 20 minutes to drive downtown each time we went there, but the home is also close to Safeway and several other stores. It's a quiet neighborhood with very little through traffic. "
