"The hotel has large collections of paintings and framed posters including cartoons, etc which is a bonus. The staff are polite and accommodating. Walkable to some must-see buildings including Sagrada Familia. Lots of restaurants and tapas bars nearby. We enjoyed dinner at Secret Tapas just round the corner. We have enjoyed our stay in Barcelona."

"The location of the hotel is excellent. It is next to Sunway, bus stop and a shopping mall. The design of the hotel is eco-friendly. There is no carpet in the room. However, the room is very very small and there is no place for two people to sit. The counter of the washroom is also very small. The kettle leaks. "

"Christal did a great job taking care of us when we arrived. The rooms are sound proof which was great. There was shampoo, body wash, shaver, toothbrush and other amenities. Weird part no lotion. The not so good part, no one or it takes a long time for someone to answer Frontdesk. Not worth for its price buts it’s a good location for shopping. Walking distance to Gaudi/Casa Batillo and great restaurants too. Place is in need of update."

The Rambla Poblenou, leading down to the beach, is about a 15 minute walk away. There are a lot of excellent restaurants and bars nearby, but I highly recommend the Andrea cafe, right next door. Very casual, popular with locals and excellent paella. Finally, the rooftop pool area is beautiful but it was closed for much of my stay due to the rain. Will definitely check it out next time!"
