"We stayed here in order to be close to the Auditorium for our concert. The price is great, but you get what you pay for. It was very average, which isn't a bad thing necessarily.
My only big comlaint is the lack of individualized climate control. There is a unit and you are at the mercy of whatever the Manager decides to be a good temperature to pump out to all rooms.
Per my son the room was "unbearably hot" and you can't open any of the windows.
Would I stay there again? Probably not. Next time I may check out the Travelodge."
"The hotel and its staff were fantastic. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of hot and cold items to choose from. My biggest complaint is with the city of Chicago. The surcharges really add up! The parking ended up being over $40 per night plus what they tack onto the hotel bill. Definitely not going back to Chicago anytime soon which is a shame because this is a fantastic hotel.

3F Vintage Graystone in Little Italy near loop UIC United Ct & McCormick Place
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a true gem. Tucked into a quiet pocket of Little Italy, it is surrounded by great spots all within walking distance. We originally chose it for its proximity to the United Center, but getting downtown was just as easy with a quick Metra ride or even a longer walk if you are up for it.John was fantastic to work with, very clear, responsive, and easygoing throughout. The flat itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need and more. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs. They are steep and narrow, which could be tricky for some guests."
"Great location to the city. Close parking after 8 got a bit hard, but wasn't impossible. the farthest i walked was a block away one night, still easy. Not a shared space! You're all alone bb. really easy to get acquainted with! If you want to watch stuff on the tv, i think you'd have to sign in with your own stuff, i snuck an account on one of the services that was already logged in, but felt guilty because- hey! idk this person (i deleted it after like a good egg, anyways). The area is pretty quiet, don't see a ton of people and it's pretty insulated from the main street so I felt I could relax in an unfamiliar city. The only other things to think about are relatively small. The showers Hot and Cold dials are flipped! The neighbors upstairs are uh. quite loud. I definitely understood why some neighbors insist a broom for any apartment living. It's not talking or anything it's just footsteps. bum bum bum bum. . . bum bum bum. FLUUUUSH. the occasional BANG. Who's the clumsy guy dropping everything upstairs? They'd be up walking around til like 1am. I was planning for early mornings most the time, so next time i'd plan for earplugs. I'd say the ceiling should drop a biiiit, but I liked the rate this place was at so I won't complain too much. Note to owners: Add lamps, please. the overhead lighting is blinding with each switch, I'd kill for some warmer light! All in all, really good! Made my first time in Chicago an unforgettable experience! "
