We stayed here before continuing our drive to the Keys. The check-in was fine and there were no issues with the staff…quite friendly actually. The room though was horrible. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. There was NO hot water (luke warm) and the faucet was seized in place. The fridge was dirty and wouldn’t seal properly and was hardly cold. The fridge door was falling off the hinge and rubbing against the floor. The smell was a whole other thing…sewer-like. It surprisingly had great reviews, but maybe we just got a bad room. We wouldn’t go back, but it might suit someone who just needs a quick overnight stop for a few hours. Again, not taking anything away from the staff who were great. It’s tough times in the service industry and staff try very hard to make it as enjoyable as possible. If we would have asked, maybe we would have been offered a room change, but we were just tired and wanted to get to bed. The feedback is directly related to the condition of the room.
