The location is excellent. The place has all basic appliances and work properly. The check-in is done by email.The second room is the basement: Is this considered to be a room??The bed size is incorrectly marketed. They are not King size beds.The outdoor patio is dirty and not aesthetically maintained.The place has a damp smell.

Great location with little quirks

Wonderful location & very walkable! The basics were just fine - comfy beds, good kitchen, good common spaces. Easy check-in process and communicative host. Overall worth it for a lovely stay in Milan. Note that the bottom bedroom does not have a bedroom door - just the spiral staircase separating the two spaces. There were some amenities missing (closet hangers, olive oil, low toilet paper, no hand soap in all bathrooms). Small things that could have been a little better but didn't detract from a good trip. For other guests from the US, on bed size: they are a little longer and narrower than a US queen, but it is listed as King in VRBO.

Typical European apartment

The location is perfectly situated in a very happening neighborhood and I would absolutely stay here again. I’m from the U.S. and I tend to find European apartments a bit of a struggle and this was no different. The showers are small; that spiral staircase down to the lower bedroom was a lot—I’d curse every time I forgot something and had to go down to get it. We didn’t bother bringing the suitcases down. The apartment was generally clean except the cup left on the lower bathroom sink had some hair stubble in it. The sinks are just sinks with no counter tops on either side. There were extra pillows in the lower closet but no extra pillow cases for them. There is an iron and ironing board that I used. We didn’t use the laundry. There was a Nespresso machine. I’d say this apartment is a solid 3 out of 5 and the neighborhood is a 5 out of 5.
