"A beautiful little inn that has two private Sento (baths) and jazz music playing throughout the day. The rooms were clean and quiet. I had a Japanese style room with a futon but Western rooms with beds are also available. Breakfast changed from Western style to Japanese each day; maybe you can request a specific meal type. "受付と宿泊場所が別館になります。受付の対応も素晴らしく、スムーズに対応していただきました。別館の入り口は狭く2階以降が客室になります。内装はリノベーションされていて、とても綺麗で広く使うことができました。浴室も少しコンパクトにはなりますが、コストから考えると十分です。近くにコンビニなどがないため、ある程度買い物をしたあとに立ち寄るのが吉です。ホテルから駅を挟んで向こう側にスーパーがあります。ホテルの正面向かい側の道沿いにイベントスペースや飲食店があります。私はそこにあるTAP8という燻製料理と地ビールのお店が好きで、今回はここに宿泊しました。またこちらに訪れるときは利用させていただこうと思います。"

"The Hotel was very good for what it was… a dated 4 star theme park hotel. I booked the Mt Fuji view room but it was too cloudy to enjoy the view (no one’s fault) … the onsen was closed too which I might have missed a notification about. The room itself was well maintained, we had a sofa bed extended out for my daughter… so it was slightly cozy but comfortable. Importantly it was clean and everything worked like it should. We enjoyed the fact that it had private access to the Fuji Q theme park with discounted full-day passes. Staff were helpful, very good."

"Good condition property, free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, very good amenities, very fast internet, average sized room to Japanese standard, The hotel has 2 Breakfast sections, one European and one Japanese, but no toaster or grill for breads, but sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians, but limited enough just to fill up. Value for money hotel. Just that some of the Breakfast Buffet food is only labelled in Japanese, thus need enquiry from staff about content and ingredients."

"I wish I never had to leave. I don't remember the last time I felt that relaxed when I was in my own private Onsen. And the shear beauty of the location as well. It was simply serene! The staff put my name on everything, including the menu for dinner. There was also a museum on the first floor teaching the history of onsens. All and all, an absolutely amazing experience!!!"

"This inn is in a very convenient location- it’s very central. Easy cab or Uber ride from the station, or easy enoigh to take a bus. 5 minutes from Kenrokuen. Be aware this is a Japanese style inn with shared toilet facilities and a shared Japanese style bathroom. The shower / bath is open each evening but not in the morning. The bathroom door does lock so you do have privacy. The innkeeper and family live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a short time after check out. They were also helpful witj specific restaurant recommendations. If you want a genuine Japanese ryokan"
