"Communication on arrival in Spain was good with quick responses from the host. On arrival at Villa Lucia we were met by the owner who showed us how everything worked. The Villa and outdoor areas were clean . No pool towels were provided . Pool heating is an extra charge.The Villa could do with a little TLC. Flaking paint and dampness in some areas which I thought didn’t reflect well given the nightly rate of the villa. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable for us personally, very hard with no bounce in the mattress at all. The air conditioning is an extra cost payable with euros. The Villa has cameras both inside and out. We weren’t personally comfortable with the indoor one but were assured they were only for security purposes should someone break in. The Villa is in close proximity to the main dual carriageway into Corralejo which at times was quite noisy. The walk to the Main Street with all the shops, restaurants etc took about 20mins along a well lit road . Overall we enjoyed our time at the Villa for it’s location and privacy but wouldn’t stay there again. Although the listing states satellite tv there are only 2 English speaking news channels ."

"Mattresses were worn right down (compacted down to the springs). Futon used as a sofa was SO uncomfortable. Like sitting on marble. Inadequate kitchen items. Please try giving guests a heads-up as to when housekeeping staff will come in!! Desk staff, bar staff, maintenance staff were fabulous!!"

"We have just returned from a wonderful stay! America was very prompt in responding to messages, the property was exactly as shown in the pictures, in a very quite residential area, around a 20 to 30 minute walk to the centre of Corralejo, another shopping centre with twice weekly market was around a 20 minute walk away, we had the sun all day and it was well worth paying to have the pool heated! We will hopefully return next year as it was exactly what we hoped for! "
