"This place was incredible! Made me very nervous at first because there was no website and no one to call other than through the travel agency (please correct me if I’m wrong)… but the staff was so friendly, always smiling! The bungalows were stunning, spacious and have everything you need. Also, literally in the jungle! Fell asleep to the sound of animals every night and some rain. So peaceful. Also Geckos is AWESOME! Please help their shelter donate necessities and basics for the pups. You can volunteer too!"

"The Retreat Costa Rica is a dream—it’s everything I expected and so much more. This beautiful retreat is secluded, peaceful, and truly feels like a place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. The food is amazing, the people are wonderful, and there are so many opportunities to nourish both body and soul. They offer a variety of yoga classes, sound healing, hikes, and advanced treatments and therapies. Because this is a very small resort, it has a wonderfully intimate, family like atmosphere. The staff is absolutely incredible, warm, caring, and genuinely attentive. Shout out to Edmond & Lisbeth for the warm reception and deep conversations, to Carlos that made sure everyone is training their most important muscle: your smile 😊 and to all the wonderful staff members serving the nourishing meals to name a few: Andres, Juan, Karina, Pablo!! I’m leaving feeling grateful, renewed, and already wishing I could come back soon. ❤️🌴"

"We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer! Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season."
