"Very well equipped and tastefully decorated cottage with amazing views over the reservoir and Holme valley. Local walks and places to eat are convenient. Only one thing wasn’t quite perfect. The key safe is near the ground and hard to access for those of us who aren’t as mobile as we used to be. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay."

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. "Lovely cosy cottage with a fantastic view. It was quite a walk to the nearest pub but very close to lovely walks for the dog. We were staying over Christmas so visiting family on most of the days but able to spend a couple of evenings in the cottage. "Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
