"Our one night stay was good, but the listing could use some better descriptors. It is only a one bedroom (not 2) with a living room pull out couch sofa as the second. The bathroom is really tiny, there is no designated parking (only free street parking), and you have to walk 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). All in all a perfectly ok stay. We were happy with the easy walkability to a grocery store and everything in the kitchen was great for cooking ourselves. "

"We knew we were in for a lovely stay at this farmhouse before we even arrived, as Juli's texts were so friendly and kind. The location is peaceful, as it's outside the urban area, but it's close enough to walk. (We even took the local bus to Kiel for the day - very convenient!) The apartment is very large, with more than enough room for two people and two cats. We hardly even used one of the bedrooms, as all of the "living" occurred in the dining area and on the sofa for TV time in the evening....

"Die Wohnung war sehr kalt und wurde trotz Heizung höher stellen nicht warm ( Außentemperatur waren -11C). Die Wohnungen hatten einen unangenehm geruch ( modrich). Das Bett macht sehr starke Knarrende Geräusche das ich nicht schlafen konnte. Für mein empfinden war es auch nicht sauber z.b Kaffee Flecken auf der anrichte und essens rückstände auf dem Herd.Die Gastgeberin war SEHR nett und freundlich Hunde sind sehr herzlich willkommen "

"Uns hat es in der Wohnung an nichts gefehlt. Alles vorhanden, sauber , hochwertige Einrichtung, sehr gute Matratzen und eine wunderschöne Terrasse. Ein Ansprechpartner war immer vor Ort erreichbar. Den Außenbereich mit Pool, Sauna , Hot Tub und Liegewiese haben wir gar nicht genutzt da das Wetter so toll war und wir den Strand vorgezogen haben. Sah aber sehr gut aus. "Check in was easy and fast. The desk staff were very nice and helpful. There was a bad smell in the main hallway down to the room elevators, I’m not sure what caused that but it was pretty bad. Our room was pretty clean. The breakfast is expensive but there’s quite a selection. There needs to be more than just one coffee machine, however. The parking garage is a nightmare! Tiny spaces, tight corners, and you had to go through two doors to get to the elevator. Those doors should be changed to automatic opening doors."

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
