"So close to coast, yet in middle of countryside. Great pool and games room. Very relaxed, great for kids, will definitely be returning."

The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! " Allercabin is a rustic, gorgeous comfy and relaxing heaven. The perfect location to explore Exmoor and to relax and unwind as well. Cannot say enough about the place. Everything is thought out, the hot tub heats fast, and looks fantastic lite at night with the lights. We truly felt at home and on our own even on a working farm but knew we could ask if needed anything as well."

"Our second stay at the White Hart, this time with two other couples. A very characterful old hotel in a nice little town, convenient for exploring north west Somerset or into Devon. Being an old building there are some quite steep stairs and no lift but this did not cause us any issues. Breakfast was a good cold buffet. At the time we visited there was no chef (last time we had dinner at the hotel) but we all had dinner all three nights at the Bear Inn over the road (good food, wide menu, its own Black Bear brewery, tables reservable). A couple of other restaurants in Wiveliscombe appeared on the internet but had closed. Old building but kept clean. Appreciated tea and coffee making supplies being topped up. Dog friendly. "

"Lovely historic hotel in Lynmouth right by the water. Be aware that check-in ends at 10pm and front doors lock at 11pm, but staff are friendly and helpful if you need any accomodation around that. We called and were given instructions on how to get our keys on arrival after 10pm. As for our stay, the hotel was comfortable, quiet and lovely. The breakfast options were quite nice as well. "
