Best Western York House Hotel

Best Western York House Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Fab hotel in a really good location. The staff were very friendly and responsive to needs, nothing felt to much trouble. For what you pay, have to say its great value in what felt like a 4 star hotel rather than 3 star! WiFi was the only gripe as the signal in rooms was very poor. Otherwise , nothing not to like"

"Had a good nights stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the building is a little old and very quiet downstairs. However the room was as expected for the price, also there is free parking outside after 6pm until 8am, so that was extra helpful. A simple cheap nights stay, comfy bed, nice views, and was up and out the next day."

"Good stay but the air con in the room kept rattling waking me up. Reported this in the morning and was told maintenance would look at it, when I got back the rattle still occurred. Went back to reception who again said it had been logged and the offered a change of room but to a lower grade room as no others where available. Staff where helpful and I believe did what they could but when your room is downgraded because of an issue with your existing room it’s is a little disappointing"
