"Amazing little Guest house situated right on the seafront Free parking right by the GH Very friendly and helpful hosts who made you feel very welcome One of the best breakfasts iv ever had, high quality and plentiful Room was spotless although very small but i believe we had the cheapest room so therefore was our choice Lovely facilities with a few lovely little extras, biscuits, hot chocolate and bags of sweets !!!!! Just a lovely stay, will definitely go back again "

"Stunning property with excellent quality food and rooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the room and bed (standard double) were very small and hot. Couldnt kèep the window open thanks to the local boys racing up and down the seafront. We are not particularly big people but i can imagine that a larger couple would find the bed impossible to sleep in!"

"Had a pleasant stay in York House hotel they have a nice Veranda. We can sit in the Sun or the shade and have a pleasant drink looking at the beach. parking is reasonable as they have permits and there is also free on street parking just around the corner."

"Fabulous location, clean room and lovely staff. Decor in the room was a bit tired, but it's hard to maintain a property of this age, I guess. Lift was a great feature, too."

"Very good value. The room was clean, large tv, coffee/tea/milk in the room was a welcome sight on arrival. Staff very helpful and courteous. The hotel is nearby to the pedestrian precinct which leads into the main shopping area and The Beacon Shopping Centre. Devonshire Park and the Theatre area a short walk away."

"Had a fantastic stay at The Landsdowne. Its a old hotel with lots of history. The staff, reception, breakfast and dinner, absolutely brilliant. Tomas, Hannah, Rosa, Dora, to name a few. Our room was spacious. We'll definitely be back. "

"Super stay. Bright, clean room Superior Classic. Had tasty sandwich lunch outside in sunshine. The hotel is wonderfully situated, set back from the road and coastline. Beachy Head walks very close by and superb promenade walks right out front by the sea. Great for Congress Theatre. Splendid historic building, facilities and friendly staff. Parking on site. Fabulous varied breakfast....cereals, fruits, smoked salmon/meats/cheeses and served hot breakfasts. Love it there. Thanks"
