Very pleased with the room and pub in general. The current owners have clearly spent a lot of money recently refurbishing the pub inside and out, including the rooms. It surpassed or expectations and it is worthy of the high rating.

Fabulous location and fantastic room

The Long Man Inn is a fantastic place to stay if you want to visit Seven Sisters and the Eastbourne coast. Great walks on the doorstep. The rooms have recently been refurbished and ours was very clean and comfortable. It's great to see reuasable soap dispensers and a thoughtful coffee/tea tray. We had an evening meal which was fantastic, as was the cooked breakfast. Relaxed and attentive service. Thank you

Beautifully redesigned interior with fresh colours and period furniture. We loved all the details such as the books and real art work by local artists in the bedroom. Lovely bar and good breakfast with a great display of art on the theme of the Long Man. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for visiting The Long Man and Lewes.

A warm welcome all round

Lovely inn, beautifully decorated, two friendly dogs, friendly staff, friendly locals (who didn't mind that we won the pub quiz), great breakfasts, well cooked dinners... My only quibble was that the mattress was too soft for my poor bad back (but would suit plenty of others).
