"Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great."

"Had a great stay at Tiger Inn. Simple check in process, room was comfy and clean. It really excelled with the food. I would recommend staying for dinner, their lamb shank is fabulous. Breakfast is complimentary and is equally great. Seven sisters is only a short walk away. All in all, I would recommend it!"

"Excellent 1 night-stay near the Long Man of Wilmington. Perfect if you also want to explore South Downs/Seven Sisters Cliff - Room was nice, staff was friendly, food was great. Only changes I would suggest are option of thinner pillows/summer duvet during summer months, and milk for the tea offered in the bedroom. "

"It was large, clean and bright, easy to reach from the rail station and bus service 10 min and the city centre. A bit noise because is on the street. Excellent position to start the walk on the cliffs and see the paradisiac Seven Sisters"

"Nice friendly staff on arrival. Room was large and comfortable, with ensuite bathroom. Lovely large bath, but shower was a bit hit and miss with temperature. Well stocked hospitality tray which included hot chocolate and biscuits, plus tea and coffee. Hotel is conveniently located to town, beach, restaurants and theatres. On site parking was a bonus (and free). Breakfast was cereal, fruit salad etc, plus choice of hot food, cooked to order. This was our third stay and will be returning....

"We were in Room 709. Amazing view.Compact but everything we needed, stones throw from the Congress Theatre. Loved the bath & comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing…we’ll be back!"

"Nice hotel and lovely staff. We had a nice big room with a partial view of the sea which was nice. Loved the old style 120 year old lift and the character and mellowness of the hotel. Reception were lovely and helpful especially the young boy and blonde girl. Our biggest disappointment was Eastbourne itself, having never been before I thought there would be more going on along the front but it is dead. It's a pity because the promenade in front of the hotels is really nice."

"Amazing little Guest house situated right on the seafront Free parking right by the GH Very friendly and helpful hosts who made you feel very welcome One of the best breakfasts iv ever had, high quality and plentiful Room was spotless although very small but i believe we had the cheapest room so therefore was our choice Lovely facilities with a few lovely little extras, biscuits, hot chocolate and bags of sweets !!!!!
