"Sadly our stay was cut short but while we were there we experienced a hearty breakfast cooked by Nick and served by the friendliest of staff who all had your best interests at heart. Our room was clean and tidy and it's only negative was, it was on the top floor and there isn't a lift, but still worth a visit should you be going to Eastbourne."

"We often stay here we choose it over other hotels in Eastbourne .It is in an excellent location near the pebble beach and pier and it is only a short walk to bars and restaurants. The staff are always warm friendly and helpful without being obtrusive .Comfy beds ,clean rooms lovely sea view available bathroom although quite compact is clean and functional with shower and a bath in larger or family rooms I rate this hotel 10/10"

"Booked a double room with sea view last minute and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean with a fantastic sea view and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is equally clean although a little dated and showing its age, however don’t let that put you off staying. For the price we paid it was great value plus parking for £2.50 until 11am the next day long the front. Despite no air con, the hotel had thoughtfully made the bed with a sheet only, with the duvet in the wardrobe should it be needed and a fan was also provided."

"Where to start? Adri and The New England were amazing! Such a welcoming and gracious host - always remembering our names and so helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and we felt so at home. Adri even volunteered to do some laundry for us!! It was the best stay of our 3 week Ireland dnd UK vacation."
