Have stayed in 4 hotels and B&B’s in Eastbourne and this is by far and away the best one I’ve stayed in. Victorian features, stain glass windows combined with a modern style. Breakfast choices were eggcelent with proper sausages and bacon, the “house” scrambled eggs was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bonus as that area of Eastbourne can be tricky to find spaces to park at night. Would definitely stay at The New England again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this Hotel. We were greeted and looked after by a very friendly and caring host and staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good menu. We had room 3 with a big balcony overlooking the promenade with sunshine from early morning to late afternoon. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

The owner and staff members go out of their way to make sure that all guests feel welcome and cared for. This is a convenient well run guest house in an old and dated building although the bathrooms and dining area are well modernized. Parking is difficult and front facing rooms were almost intolerably hot since I had the good fortune to be in England for the five days when they had summer!!
