"Room, view, restaurant everything was great. Staff was very helpful. The only problem was that the lift was not ready and there were like 3 floors you had to go up and down. Kids room was great. Enough to be keep kids busy. Few things in other common area like foosball table was not working, rest table tennis, pool, carrom, ludo, those were fine. Hotel US Tower

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is excellent considering it is 2 stars. Our A/C River Facing room was as good as most 3.5 star hotels if not better. The staff are polite and knowledgeable. The only downside was the restaurant- which is shut (Oct ‘26). The kitchen is functional so room service is possible, limited, but ok. Just as well as local cafes are only just adequate….This is as of October 2026. It’s quite possibly the best hotel that is within walking distance to the ghat (river front where rivers Bhaigirathi and Alakhnanda meet to for the Ganga)."

The Mountilla

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay at The Mountilla,Kanatal was nothing short of refreshing and memorable. Surrounded by serene mountains and breathtaking views, the resort offers the perfect escape from the city’s chaos. The calm atmosphere, crisp mountain air, and stunning sunsets instantly set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to make the stay comfortable, with beautiful views that made waking up each morning extra special. The staff deserves a special mention—polite, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with a good variety that catered to different tastes. Enjoying meals amidst such peaceful surroundings was an experience in itself. The property is well-maintained, and every corner reflects care and warmth. Overall, The Mountilla is an ideal choice for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy quality time in the hills. We left with beautiful memories and would definitely love to visit again."
