"A minha estadia dentro dos contratempos da casa teve, correu bem. Um hotel considerado quatro estrelas no quarto não avia uma garrafinha de água um quarto com bastante espaço não tinha uma secretária para o computador mas também não tinha Wi-Fi no hotel o colchão era muito duro a roupa de cama essa era boa. "Outstanding stay, thanks to an exceptional team We had a wonderful stay, and the staff is what made it truly memorable. From start to finish, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Cecilia, in particular, was amazing. When we ran into an issue with a driver pickup, she stepped in and handled it with genuine care and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make things right, and it turned what could have been a frustrating moment into one of the best service experiences we've ever had at a hotel. If you stay here, you're in great hands. Thank you, Cecilia, and the entire team, for taking such good care of us. And the breakfasts were awesome too."

"This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place."

"Amazing stay. Stayed four nights and eat at the restaurant twice for supper. First supper, cheek pork with varieties of veggies. Incredible. 2nd supper veal steak. Very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent wine made on property. Breakfast was all you needed and excellent. What you see on the photos is what you get. If I return to the Douro region, I would not hesitate to go back. Cheers"

"Absolutely breathtaking. The views, the location, the service, the food. I could write a novel and not capture everything. If you have an opportunity to book the Six Senses, do it!! You’ll be tempted to skip breakfast because you’re cocooned in the delicious bedding. Resist that temptation. The breakfast is extravagant."
