The Classic 500 Pentaz Executive Residence

8/10 Good

"Stayed with my family of seven people ranging from my 70+ year old Aunt and my 10yr old nieces and nephew. The hotel was located well with lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The metro was right across the street so made transport easy. The one complaint I would have is the WiFi in the building is terrible. Our room was 1303 and we’d pick up 1403 or 1203 WiFi as none of WiFi had any password restrictions. In the bedroom the signal was super weak and I’d end up using data to get standard access to internet. I did have some virtual meetings during the week and ended up using the Hotspot on my phone for all my meetings. If you’re planning on working or being in the apt for long periods of time, I would probably choose another hotel with secure WiFi to ensure you’re the only one using the bandwidth. We did ask the staff to check the WiFi and they sent someone up quickly - so service was prompt - but they stated they couldn’t find any problems and left quickly. We were left dealing with the slow WiFi from then on. Overall good hotel, terrible WiFi."

"We had an amazing stay at Sofitel Seoul. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful, elegant and updated - we stayed in the lake view family suite and the view from our window was just breathtaking. My kids loved looking out the full length windows at the city skyline and lake view each morning. The staff even helped to make my other toddler’s sofa bed extra comfy so he slept wonderfully our entire stay there. Loved all the Diptyque bath amenities as well. The indoor kids’ playroom on 5F was also such a great perk to have to let our kids burn off their remaining energy after dinner and before bed. Proximity to Lotte World Mall and Adventure Park was amazing. Concierge was great and so helpful in booking a large airport taxi that fit all our luggage! We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip to Seoul."

"I stayed in a suit and at first I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. I mentioned it to the staff and they quickly addressed my concerns. I stayed a little bit over a week and this place turned out to be a prime location for a decent price. Its super close to 3 train stations which makes getting around Seoul really easy. Jamsil is also more laid back than myeongdong or itowon. This hotel is in a more busy area of Jamsil but there were no noise issues and a bunch of restaurants near by. The Cafe in the lobby is delicious and they tend to be able to hook it up earlier than other locations. I would stay here again when coming to Seoul they really let me be. They also parked a car I was using no questions asked which was super clutch of them. At the end of the day it felt great returning to my room."
