My recent stay at Hartman's Briney Breezes Beach Resort was fantastic! The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location couldn't be better – the beach is literally just across the street. I loved how convenient it was to access various restaurants and activities in the area. The owner was incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind, which made a big difference. My room was comfortable, and I really enjoyed the space. Overall, a truly great experience and I can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Briney Breezes. The hosts/owners are very friendly. Our room, while not luxurious, was spacious, clean and well appointed. Our room had a balcony with a nice sea view. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Beach is right across the street. Would definitely recommend this property.

It’s a sweet spot for families. Right across from the beach and a nice walk into town. The owner (we think that’s who it was) was SO kind, friendly and generous. Our room was perfect and the sheets smelled amazing. Only complaint was that the bed was creaky with most movement, being ear plugs lol. Really a delightful stay with a wholesome atmosphere for kids and families.

Staff was attentive and pleasant. Room was clean and newly updated. Very nice accomodations. Only issues were that there was no closet space to hang clothes and no luggage rack for a bag. Used the kitchen table to set bags on and the coat hooks to hang some clothes up. Also no clothes iron or ironing board - brought a portable steamer.

A Room with a Great View

I am a solo world traveler. I love Montauk and I am glad that I found the Hartmans' Briney Breezes Beach Resort. The location of the resort is close to the center of the town, where restaurants, bars, grocery stores, bank and shops are around. One of the best features is that the resort is next to the ocean front. I see the water from the balcony, and I hear the sound of the wave from my bed. The 2-queen size bed studio with a bathroom and a kitchen, is very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The grounds of the resort is beautifully groomed. I will be back, with my family, next time!

Nice place by the beach

Took a short trip out to the beaches of Long Island and stayed here. Overall, this stay was wonderful but I'd like to highlight two things over the rest: the staff were nicely responsive and the rooms were wonderfully breezy (they do mention the breeze in the name...) Arranged in basically a motel kind of setup, with all rooms facing onto a central courtyard. This place is right across the street from the beach and also has a pool. This place is roughly 3/4 mi from what felt like a main street for Montauk, with a lot of restaurants and shops. The path to walk from the hotel there was in pretty good shape and a nice walk. There is also a restaurant next door, one a little bit down the road in the other direction and you can always use the kitchen amenities in your room. Didn't need to ask for much but the few times I did, the staff were very responsive and friendly. The weather was wonderful when I was there and the room I was in had windows that allowed a wonderful breeze to keep the room pleasant. Also the bed was wonderful for a good night's rest. Otherwise, the room and amenities were in good order.
