We just left Alpha; we were able to find excellent dining options in and around the hotel and getting to Sorrento was easy and affordable by train, nearby. The staff at the front desk was very helpful helping with transport and activity recommendations. Rooms were clean and comfortable with spacious showers and some toilettries (not including hair conditioner or face cloth towels if you prefer these). The pool is mostly in the shade because of its location in the garden. Some evening entertainment (i.e. sax player performing in the courtyard and other things). Overall a very nice stay on our journey and we'd go back.

Breakfast was a joke. The platters were empty. We waited 10 min , no one stocked anything. Then we asked one of the staff to make us omelet. They brought us plane one egg omelet and told us it will be 12 euros to room charge which they ended up waiving as there really was no food in the platters. ...
