The breakfast was worth the price many options for dietary needs and healthy options.the property is beautiful and has a swimming pool, walking trails and right by the beach. They offer options for supporting bigger groups from business or family trips, or if you're just 2 people it's still plenty of room
Fabulous experience! It’s hard to put into words! The incredible view of the beach from our balcony, the sound of waves lulling us to sleep, the woods around the site were still and meditative, the wooded interiors were comforting and exceptionally maintained. Way beyond my expectations! Thank you for a magnificent experience!!

The hotel is old needs some up date in the rooms but it’s on a great location Beautiful view
Beautiful historic property. It’s a bit run down and the staff is not the friendliest but it’s worth it for the location and history and just the sheer beauty of the overall property.
My husband is a teacher and chaperoned fifth grade here for a week long field trip in May, and that’s how we found out about Asilomar. He said we need to go with our little family!
Loved our stay, we plan on more weekend getaways here! The beach is beautiful (I’m from Australia, so I know beautiful beaches) and the weather was perfect.
Love the character and charm of the place and how close is to the beach. however, it would be a lot better if the rooms get an upgrade as well as the pool, the floors and the restrooms in some of the buildings.

Rooms were clean just outdated and could use a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was ok not bad but not the best. It looks nice and is really quiet outside and close to the beach. Would not recommend to stay here if bringing kids.
The location is excellent and it only takes a couple minutes to walk to the Asilomar State Beach. It's very quiet. The rooms are located in various buildings throughout the property which is nice for privacy but can be confusing sometimes to get back to your room. The guest check in building is very beautiful and has an Awanhee vibe with craftsman architecture and stone fireplace.
Truly loved this hotel. The room was very clean. The staff were super helpful. Parking was easy. Didnt get to enjoy the pool but I can’t wait to be back!
This is a great location, could hear the waves from my room, could walk to the beach and watch the spectacular sun set.
The room was spacious but there were some ants they got in our clothes and belongings.
Enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening.
Stayed here for one night. There were some deer on the property which was cool to watch.
The location of this place is beautiful. I enjoyed my three day weekend here with my friends. As I checked in, the staff was very helpful with the accommodations I requested. I appreciate them very much. It was easy finding our room and loved the easy access to parking. I would say that my favorite part was the walk to the beach. Woke up at 6:30am and enjoyed a nice chilly walk down the trail. Overall, really good experience and would definitely come back
