We really liked it here! It is very convenient to the Monterey aquarium and Cannery Row area. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cute and clean. My only complaint is that the outside lights shined right inside the room because they only have shutters, not any kind of blackout curtains or shades, so the room never really got dark at night. Luckily, I always travel with an eye mask. Other than that, I thought it was a great place and I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Location is great, super local to lots of fun stuff to do. Mini fridge with small freezer is just enough as well. AC doesn’t work too well, rooms aren’t super clean, lacks some shelving in the shower. Bath robes would be nice as well. Overall all not too bad just above average.

The hotel is good but not great. If you are comfortable with a bare-bones spot— this will work well for you! Our room could have been improved with a basic luggage rack— there was no where to lay out our suitcase. Additionally, the floors were filthy and we couldn’t walk around barefoot/with socks without them getting dirty. No housekeeping so we had to replenish towels on our own. Great location, plenty of parking, and the pool was nice. We likely wouldn’t return but would recommend to no-fuss travelers.
