Staff members are mostly kind, friendly and helpful. There were two gals that seemed more interested in their phones and each other than guests, not at all what I’m used to in Glasgow, but honestly the rest of the staff more than compensated. The rooms could be enhanced with a mini fridge and/or a hairdryer but I think this is normal for the basic hotels in Scotland . I loved the idea of a free bevy if you choose not to have room service, but if two guests are staying, it would be nice to have free bevy’s for both. The room was clean though and provided the essentials so I guess that’s what I paid for and I realize accommodation in Scotland is very pricey, so I’m sure this hotel is as good as any other in this price range.

Room was very dour and dull, poor finish, cheap pillows, 3/4 bed not a double. Breakfast was average.

Room was great. Food was good, but placing orders was slow. Food arrived promptly though. My biggest problem is your phone system . I tried probably 10- 15 times to call and each time I waited for the 15-20 rings before it cut me off as none was available . The message "Please call back" or similar message came after the timeout period. You must be loosing lots of business by not answering the phone. The only extension that picked up was the golf.

We rented King bed room which was absolutely tiny. They have squeezed King bed into rooms that are not sufficiently sized resulting in a very cramped setting. The body wash and combo shampoo/ conditioner are of the lowest quality. There are no amenities otherwise - no cream, toothpaste etc. One of the young gents at front desk quite unfriendly, abrupt and overall unhelpful. Other staff were ok. Would not stay again.

Lovely helpful young staff and good comfortable private room. Shower not as warm as I needed it to be.
