"We really enjoyed the hotel. Breakfast in both the regular buffet and Japanese meal were awesome, but the wait for the buffet was long. The hotel was in a great location for all sightseeing in the area. It would be nice to have recycling boxes in the rooms to collect paper and bottles. "

"Excellent property in the hot spring district. Right next to public transportation ( train ). In house hot spring was very good, breakfast and traditional Japanese seafood dinner were excellent as well. Would happily come back."

"This hotel has a good seafood buffet breakfast as well as a free sight seeing bus. If you’d like to go the night viewing of Mt. Hakodate on the free bus, you need to reserve for the weekends, well in advance. We went for the sunset viewing only on the free bus. Very friendly and staff. The coin laundry was easy to use and cashless. There is also a very convenient grocery store behind the hotel and a few minutes from the Hakodate train station. "

"Loved this hotel! Staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is amazing - incredible seafood and other options - probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve had! The hot spring spa on the top floor offers a great view along with a clean and comfortable experience. Some of the tile is getting a little dated, but overall it’s great. We wish we had a Japanese style room, but there weren’t many listed on the Hotels.com website. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants, and it would be even better if there was a hotel van to go to and from the train station. "
