The front desk lady was very helpful and was able to check us in early and gave us an hour extra for check out. The person helping with breakfast was also good. Great place for the price.

A very pleasant stay
A nice hotel with a modern refresh across the room and lounge space. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

This hotel was perfect to stay for 2 nights for Oktoberfest. The location is extremely convenient - less than a 3 minute walk to the entrance of Oktoberfest. The room is pretty small, but served its purpose as we spent most of the time outside our hotel room anyway.

Staff were fantastic! Great customer service. Excellent breakfast option. Nice room. Construction around the property and a lack of air conditioning in the room meant a need to keep the windows open and trying to sleep through the temperatures and noise.

The room was unique and fun. The bathroom was spacious and modern and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. The front desk person was very personable!

We stayed here for a few nights in February 2019. We returned to Munich in February 2020, and we were fortunate enough to return to Hotel Krone for one night. Of all the hotels we've stayed in in Munich, this is by far our favorite. We appreciate the unique, classy feel of the hotel. We also appreciate the front desk's help with any questions, recommendations, and most importantly making us feel welcomed. The front desk manager (unsure of his actual title) is always there to greet you with a smile and help make your stay as pleasant as possible. We also appreciate the location of the hotel. The area is relatively quiet, but also very close to plenty of dining and shopping options in Munich. Plus, the train is not a terribly far walk. The hotel has always been quiet, and the rooms are comfortable. We definitely prefer this property compared to the cookie-cutter commercial hotel chains. It definitely makes our Munich experience that much more memorable. We hope to return in February 2021.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. The staff was kind and very helpful. I stayed here for a few days during Oktoberfest and it is just across the street from the festivities which was very convenient. It was tough to get a cab/Uber in the area because of that proximity, fyi. Only knock on the place was that it is transformed into a club until about 3 AM (maybe only during Oktoberfest). With the lines forming for the party, it was hard to get to my room at times and the loud music played until very late. Not a place to go for Oktoberfest and relax if thats what you're into.

Hotel Krone is a beautiful hotel with much character and charm. It is convenient to the subway as well as to cafes and restaurants. We loved how comfortable the beds were but mostly we loved the friendly and incredibly helpful staff especially Quirin and Peter. We highly recommend Hotel Krone.

Wonderful hotel, would just avoid staying here on a Saturday night - the hotel bar throws a party through 3am. Even on a higher floor, expect to hear the music and people coming in/out.

Of the 3 hotels we stayed at, this one was the best. It's in a great location. No outside noise. Close to local restaurants on quiet streets. And also still very close to where more of the action is. Front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lobby has a beautiful design. Hotel room itself was very quiet. Amazing shower. Breakfast was included with our stay, which is a HUGE plus. Perfect hotel for being just outside downtown, and saving some money. We will definitely be returning next year.

The hotel was OK, my problem with them was that they wanted me to pay cash and not use a credit card so that I would not have to pay any "fees". Well, this threw me out financially and I ended up having to withdraw cash from a local bank which cost ME lots.

Meine Partnerin und ich haben im Boutique Hotel Krone zwei Nächte verbracht. Wegen ihrer Hausstaubmilben-Allergie wurden wir von einem Showroom (mit Teppichboden) auf eine der neuen Deluxe Suits (mit Echtholzboden) upgegradet. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt hervorragend, wir schwärmen immernoch von dem bequemen Bett. Weitere Highlights waren der Ausblick, sowie das Bad mit freistehender Wanne und großzügiger Regendusche. Es gab nur ein paar kleine Mängel z.B. keine Handtuchhalterungen und ein Fleck auf der Bettwäsche. Diese haben wir allerdings sowieso nicht benutzt sondern unsere eigene mitgebracht wegen besagter Allergie. Das Hotel war sehr schön eingerichtet (genau wie auf Bildern) unser Zimmer Tageslichtdurchflutet und gut ausgestattet (Föhn, Duschgel, Lotion, Kleiderstange mit Fächern). Dank hochwertigen elektrischen Schalosien war das Zimmer komplett abzudunkeln.
