Welcome to Hangingdogcampground Fish Camp! This is a Private Fly-Fishing Camp with four RV full hook up sites on creek. (This is NOT your typical crowded RV park). When you stay with us each guest has access to the private wild trout stream for fly fishing. Fly fishing only. Catch and release.
Please note that this is all grass sites, and you will need leveling blocks.
After it rains the ground may be saturated, and may need to dry out before setting up at sites.
(Private Fly-Fishing Access is hard to find and normally would cost $75-100 per angler per day). Perfect Sites for a small travel camper, camper van, or class B, C.
Each site is creek front and has full hook ups if needed. Tents are welcome.

Guided Fly Fishing is available to book separately if your group wants to LEARN to FLY FISH. Private classes are $199 per person. Private guided Lake trips $450 for up to 4 anglers. Guided River Float trip $375 half day 2 anglers per boat.

The Hanging Dog Fish Camp and Glamp is a private fish camp for those wanting access to fly fish on a private trout stream, with or without Guides.

Only 8 miles to town of Murphy NC, yet feels like your far away!
Blue Ridge GA 35 miles or Copperhill TN.
Hayesville NC 20 minutes.
John Campbell Folk School 15- 20 minutes.

Firepit to enjoy Smores or cook outs. Picnic tables for you to enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE type of RV, length, slide outs.
Small dogs OK. Certain breeds are not accepted. Please let us know if you have pets, size, type of breed.
