"This is a wonderful apartment in a very pretty village in the Dordogne. Sainte-Alvère is 30 mins from Bergerac airport and is truly one of the most picturesque villages we’ve visited. Local bar and restaurant, boulangerie and well stocked local supermarket along with weekly market.The apartment offered by Max and Helene is lovely, new kitchen, good sized bedroom and bathroom and a pull out sofa bed. Outdoor seating in the wee courtyard was a bonus and the pool area was the star of the show - very quiet and private, landscaped and very clean.Couldn’t ask for more for a relaxing and restorative break, super part of France for exploring but with this accommodation and surroundings you really don’t need to go far!Hope to return to this gem in France!!"

"Sylvette and Alan have a lovely house and we were so happy to stay there! The pool, with its view across the hills, is immaculate and has all the things you need to enjoy yourself (pool noodles, shades, loungers etc). The house is comfortable and well equipped, the kitchen had every tool we needed and the dishwasher and washing machine worked great. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely style and the whole house is air-conditioned throughout, we were even almost cold at times! So in the summer it was a real pleasure. The enclosed garden is big and well maintained with beautiful flowers and fruit trees and there is a walk immediately from the garden through a wildflower meadow and into the forest if you have a dog or just like walking. Sylvette and Alan were very gracious and kind hosts who helped us with all our needs and provided a lovely atmosphere. It was a pleasure and we would be delighted to stay again! 10/10"

"En dehors de quelques toiles d'araignées et de quelques entrées d'eau par la toiture lors d'un gros orage, la maison est parfaitement adaptée, la piscine est un gros plus très apprécié mais la clôture et le portillon sont en fin de vie et peu sécuritaire ( enfants en bas âge)Excellente situation géographique et globalement un lieu très agréable à vivre."

"Un logement conforme à l’annonce, très bien équipé. Literies confortables .Un accueil formidable, Mr Pernot du Breuil est un hôte disponible et aux petits soins.Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, au calme mais à distance raisonnable des sites touristiques. La piscine est top! Un conseil si vous voulez garder la fraîcheur naturelle de la maison : il faut s’astreindre à fermer les portes la journée!! Mais ça marche aussi bien qu’une Clim."

"This is a wonderful property and our group of 18 had a fantastic stay for a week. The house has everything you could possibly need. Jessica is a superb host, ensuring everything is in place, and always available for advice or any minor problems. Would not hesitate to stay again."
