The room was clean and well laid out, however, I thought we were getting single beds and the room had one double and a couple of bunk beds. Tea was not replenished on the second day of our stay which was disappointing. Also the entire bathroom door is frosted glass and gives little privacy. With that being said, the location is super convenient and walkable. Staff were kind and polite.

I loved this wonderful quirky hotel. It has so much character and charm! I felt completely at home in my cosy room, which was much larger than I expected. The location and staff are great. I would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely appointed and prepared room in the west end, handy for the relaxed, less touristy drinking and eating on Rose Street.
Recommend nipping out to Cairngorm Coffee, a lovely local eatery for breakfast, and take a walk down to The Dean Bridge and along the Water of Leith Walkway to St Bernards Well and Stockbridge.

"Didn't realize this was on a college campus. There's a bus stop just outside the main entrance. Two false fire alarms in two days, one just as we unloaded and one at 10pm or so, staff handled things well and fire department was prompt. One night there was only one person working the bar/restaurant ..."
