"Staff was fantastic, food excellent, very clean hotel"

"The beach location was definitely the best part of this hotel — it’s right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes, which made it very convenient. I also appreciated having an ocean view room. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very outdated. The carpets were old and worn, the beds were uncomfortable, and there was no AC in the lobby which made it very hot. The bathroom setup was also poor because every time you shower, water spills out of the tub onto the floor, making it extremely wet and slippery. The towels also did not smell clean, which made the stay feel even less hygienic. Be very careful with the deposit you leave at check-in. They seemed to try charging for every little thing. For example, I was accused of drinking a water bottle from the fridge that I never touched. Meanwhile, housekeeping staff were in my room making coffee and drinking water from the minibar themselves while cleaning. Overall, the location was great, but the hotel experience itself was disappointing."

"The staff is excellent. So attentive and kind, I ended up staying an entire week longer than I’d planned because I felt so at home. The staff treated me like family, there’s a wonderful bar across the street where expats gather in the evening. Close enough to all the local attractions and bars, but resides on a street that feels like its own little community of friendly faces. If you’re looking for a down to earth landing place, this is your spot."

"Excellent location. If you jog 8n the morning the park is across the street and one lap is about 3km. Close enough to the walking street but not close enough to hear the music. Staff is very friendly, especially the door man in the evening. Clean people were amazing Very close to several small parts and laundry places. We got the balcony and was worth every penny. Only bad thing is the bathroom did not have a bidet. Besides that great place to stay."
