"Wow x1000, we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already talking about doing it again!Anne & Jon’s home is so well loved you can feel it. This was unlike every stay I’ve ever had and truly what you seek to experience when you want to do a share home vacation. This place happily accommodated our girls trip group through meals, hangouts at the house, and it was super close to everything we were excited to explore around Mystic. Our proximity gave us autonomy to go at our own pace within our group, as well as time to bond together. My favorite moment was an impromptu chat circle under the shade of the home’s beautiful front yard willow tree. Everything felt clear, orderly, tidy, and thoughtful. From an inside/outside friendly blanket basket to machine washing instructions. Check in was easy, Anne was so available, and we felt in great hands. Absolutely recommend looking no further when wanting to explore Mystic, CT. We got the most wonderful weekend we could imagine."

"The Willow Street property was beyond all of our expectations. It is a gorgeously restored mansion set in a perfect locastion in Mystic. We were a group of 13 adults meeting for an informal school reunion. and the accomodations were plenty for all of us. The kitchen is large and has all the appliances we needed. Our hosts were kind enough to meet with in advance of our large gathering and quickly answered the many questions I had during the planning. Everone loved it!"

"Historic Waterfront School HouseWe’re so happy that we stayed at the Historic Waterfront School House. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. Not too big, not too small, just right. Parking is just behind the unit. But one of the best things is the side patio with prime view of The Mystic Bridge going up and down. Seriously one of the closest homes to downtown. Only three doors down the street to Main Street where all the shopping and restaurants are. A two block walk to Mystic Pizza. You can be back at the School house with a hot pie! I was very impressed how Great Gull Island Properties handle everything during our stay. It was so nice that they didn’t require us to strip the beds or do many of the things others require. They just asked us to leave the home tidy and start the dishwasher. Thank you Great Gull Island Properties for treating us as Guests. I look forward to staying at your properties again."

"The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance, never had to touch the car. The lighting inside was about as bright as candle light (no exaggeration), this is apparently the vibe the owner wants. It's like being in the late 18th early 19th century. Older people (like myself) may find it difficult to prepare meals or do things requiring the use of the mirror in the bathroom. The place was clean and ckeck in was effortless. All considered the location makes up for any criticisms I might have. Would definitely stay again."

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Mystic. The location was phenomenal and we walked just about everywhere. Just steps to get to town in one direction or a nice, peaceful walk by the river in the other direction. The hosts were very communicative and proactively shared recommended restaurants and sites/activities, which was super helpful. Checking in and out was also seamless. The house was spotless and the layout was perfect for our group of 6 plus our dogs. Super spacious and comfortable. We hadn’t been to Mystic in many years and we were missing out! The friendliest people, lots to do and so many wonderful cafes and restaurants. We were sad to leave and hope to be back very soon."
