"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"Rooms were very nice and clean, kitchen was fully equipped. Great location! Walked to downtown Mystic where there was shopping, restaurants, views, sailing boat cruise, bascule bridge. Beautiful downtown area."
"I booked this for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Gerard was great at communicating and allowed for them to have an earlier check in and later check out. My parents and friends said the place was clean and very cute. It was in a perfect location. They had a great time and I would definitely rent from them again."
"This place was a 12/10. A cute little inn right in downtown Mystic that was walkable to anything you could possibly need. The staff was great at both the inn and the attached restaurant, The Shipwright's Daughter. The building we stayed in did have musty smelling carpet in the hallways, uneven floors, and we had to climb the stairs to our room, none of which bothered us but could be a potential deal-breaker for some. We would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back up to Mystic. Whilst this review is for the inn itself, I can't say enough good things about Mystic. My husband and I loved everything about it. "
