"Excellent front desk staff (I think her name was Zaleyka, though I might have spelled her name wrong) was exceptional. She made my stay a great experience."

"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"The staff were wonderful, including the manager, who calmly and kindly helped us through a booking issue with Expedia in that we only had one room for the stay, while we had booked two through Expedia. The staff made an extra effort to make Christmas morning special, by dressing up in holiday jumpers and the buffet included luscious strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate chips fashioned into adorable santas. A plus for the staff.
The hotel was beautifully decorated in all public areas and they made a special effort to decorate for the holidays inside and out. The pool areas was nice but a tad chilly. Gym was clean and workable.Towels, water and seating was abundant in both. The hotel was very clean as were our rooms. We had adjoining doubles, which was convenient for our family.
We loved the public spaces by the gas fireplace and enjoyed the very cool outdoor atrium with gas warming fires under lights and the open sky.
The beds were extremely firm, which was not great for our backs. This was the biggest drawback.
The location is fantastic. We walked to the Aquarium and Olde Mistick VIllage, which is truly a fantastic spot for specialty shops, dining and movie theater.
We had a short drive to the Seaport, which would have been walkable if it weren't 26 degrees with a windchill factor that brought us down into almost the single digits.
What a great little Christmas vacation we had in Mystic, in large part thanks to the Mystic Hilton. "
Historic home in downtown Mystic-1 block from green, river, shops & restaurants
10/10 Excellent
"The house was so welcoming with cookies, water and wine waiting on us. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen at a home we ever stayed. There were plenty of towels and a basket full of blankets to snuggle up with during the chilly evening. The house is in the perfect location for walkable restaurants. We also enjoyed walking to the shops, the Christmas tree lighting and the holiday boat parade. The hosts kept us informed of upcoming events. We had such a great Thanksgiving holiday as 2 families united. We are very thankful for a magical time in Mystic in such a wonderful home with such caring hosts. I highly recommend staying here. "

The hosts were communicative and responsive while giving us the space to enjoy their home. "
"Fantastic location, clean, extremely comfortable! The owner was extremely responsive when we had questions about parking and check-out. It was all truly smooth, and the unit is fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. "
