"Great stay, great location before a cruise"

"Fantastic location in Yokohama. Hotel situated on the 20th floor of an office complex and extending for 9 floors. Panoramic windows with panoramic views. Close access to subway. This is a foodie area and every eatery was delicious. The rooms are well proportioned and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Cool vibe. Yokohama is so clean and far less congested then downtown Tokyo. Right by the ocean and access to the waterfront and many interesting cultural activities. Definitely a place to stay."

"Amazing stay in Yokohama. Very central location in Kannai. Short walk to the baseball stadium, as well as train station. Good leisure walk to the red brick houses as well as chinatown. We were in a 2 pax bunk bed room. It had just enough space for 2 medium size luggages. Beds were extremely comfortable. There was a fridge, good electrical sockets with USB and USBC with adapters present beside both beds. Exceptional cleanliness - interior team are doing such a great job. Pyjamas provided for the stay. We used the laundry facilities once and that was self explanatory and easy to use. There were ample amenities to choose from. Public bath was a great addition to our stay. We used it every day. The TV had a live notice of how busy the public baths can be. Breakfast was fantastic which I always looked forward to each day. The front desk was also very helpful with a package I was expecting as well as Takkyubin. We will definitely visit again when the opportunity arises."

"All good and staff is friendly. The self check in and out is good for me but I am unsure if everyone can operate the machine which looks complicated."

"Hotel was in a central location near konbinis(one next door) , drug stores, a long street of restaurants and for travelers, next door to a laundromat. Hotel staff was great at check in and room was cleaned daily. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were in the room. Amenities in the lobby included toothbrush kit and face cleaning oil packets. Unlike other Japanese hotels I’ve been to, there were no lotions or moisturizers of any kind. Good neighborhood and did not experience any noisy neighbors nor hallway noise"

"Let me preface this review by saying I am old and suffer from chronic pain. As such, I tend to judge hotels hardly if they can't manage to have a remotely comfortable bed. It's why I can no longer stay at capsule hotels like I could in my youth. So, bearing that in mind, if you are young, fit and can sleep on your back/on a flat, harsh surface, you can add a star to my review and ignore the start. Onto the review. This place was a little confusing. The name of the hotel appears to just be the check in part across the street, the actual hostel has another name and is delightfully retro. It feels like it was built in the 70s, if that. It's a bit run down. There's no elevator. The black on brown doors makes the numbering basically invisible, especially with the dank lighting. It's also one of those places where basic amenities are an extra. That being said, if not for the bed which was hard as a rock, it's fine. The showers work. The door locks work. The internet works. And just a short walk from a main street, a bus stop and a train station. Not too bad. Between the state of the bathrooms alone (but also elsewhere) and the fact those who stay are required to strip the bedding themselves upon checking out, I surmise they have no cleaners. Between that and the very haphazard wiring, scary even, especially in the bathrooms; the vibe isn't great. At the right price, it's fine I suppose. But very very low standards. "

"There's only outdated reviews on Expedia but based on my experience: Hotel is clean and is nearby public transportation. However hotel location isn't in the safest neighborhood, I was actually warned by locals in the area. Front desk staff isn't friendly at all. Stopped at front desk a few times to get information about area, they came off standoffish. The "bed" isn't comfortable at all. I made the best of it for a few days however I wouldn't return. "
