"Amazing boutique hotel in a great location near skiing and restaurants. The bed was very comfy, the room was perfect for our family of 4, and the breakfast was delicious - you just pick whatever you want off the cafe menu. "
"Staff made us very welcome and the shuttle service was excellent. The dining at the hotel was a very special experience (our first). An excellent choice."
"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). "We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included. The property manager and staff were very nice and accommodative.
They gave us free use of the SUPs and kayaks which was lots of fun.
The rooms were nice and freshly renovated.
Highly recommended for either a summer stay to enjoy the lake activities or a winter stay to hit the nearby slopes.
Thanks!"

It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! And the food was amazing and a wonderful experience. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners and they were all...

"This hotel is a beautiful ryokan and onsen. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. We ate breakfast and dinner at the ryokan and really enjoyed the food - meals are 7 courses and food quality is top notch. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Yudanaka. They have a private onsen which we also booked so my husband and I could use the onsen together. "
