Stayed in The Crown Hotel in Napier on 4th December. To be honest it was the standout hotel of our whole trip. Hotel staff could not do enough for us from holding our bags early in the morning until check in. Room was perfect, very clean and open and bright. If you are in napier stay at the crown. you will not be disapointed.

Having read reviews on this site, we requested a room at the top (3rd floor) and were rewarded with a quiet room with lovely ocean view. The minibar was well stocked if desired. While there are plenty of restaurants nearby the facilities to self cater were very clean and more than adequate.

Receptionist was impressive, Friendly, lots of information, maps , places to go etc etc..he was First Class. Apartment was fantastic, loved it, very impressed. Location was excellent. Town was fabulous.. Parking on site, free laundry. Would stay again in a heart beat.
