This property is a hidden paradise. Mr. Dario at the front desk made check in easy and simple. If there is anywhere to stay while in Napoli, this is it! no need to look further. The food at this hotel was exceptionally good as well. We had dinner the night we arrived in the restaurant and it was delicious! as well as the buffet breakfast that is included with our stay. The premises was so beautiful, and the staff were all wonderful, courteous and professional. We will defiantly be coming back for a longer stay next time. I left my heart in Napoli when I left here.

loved the pool, was a good little hotel. Food was really expensive but we didn't eat there anyways. Good transport links with easy access to central naples just a train away, and a taxi is around 20 - 30 euros if you can't get the last train. overall was happy with everything :)

Relaxing and enjoyable stay
We had an enjoyable 4 night stay at Montespina. Situated out of Naples city centre so was away from the hustle and bustle - would therefore recommend hiring a car. The pool was large and nice to relax there for the day. We had a spacious room, however the hotel seems a bit dated and we had ants in our room which at times got into our bed.

The staff bent over backwards to help us as I was rushed into hospital for an emergency operation, my family are still at the hotel for extra nights whilst I recuperate they couldn’t have helped any more with information etc

The hotel is on the fringe of Naples, not good for city access, the surroundings are pleasant enough and the grounds are beautiful. The team were wonderful but ourroom was dull and without air conditioning, a summer stay would be out of the question. Facilities were generally good and the hotel bar was superb. The restaurant was a little dated and the food was ok but not the best. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay but, because of location and distance from the city we would not return.

My mum and I stayed at the Montespina hotel for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had never been to Italy before and whilst Naples wasn’t quite what we were expecting the hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they spoke very good level of English, outside of the hotel there aren’t many English speaking places so could be quite difficult. There’s not much going on in the hotel out of season for entertainment but the town centre is a 15 minute train ride away with the last train retuning at 9:40. There’s little to do within walking distance, a couple of cafes and restaurants, but we were quite happy. The food at the hotel is delicious and the breakfast buffet is a fab idea to set you up for your day trips, with pastries, cereal, toast, fruit, sausage, bacon and eggs to choose from. Our only complaint if you can call it that is that the beds were a little too firm for our liking and our neighbours liked to rearrange furniture at 6am, so I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

You must have transport
This hotel is great for relaxing whilst visiting the Naples area. We travelled from here to Pompeii, Vesuvius and both the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts as well as Naples. But you need to have your own transport as the local area isn’t well served or the most salubrious. The swimming pool is a welcome relieve from the chaos of driving in Naples! I would recommend to anyone doing a local driving tour but not as a base for exploring by local transport.

Fabulous pool and area. Good dining areas and outside areas for drinks. The rooms inside the main building area little tired and small, the plumbing from the adjacent room was incredibly noisy and sounded like it was in our room!! Air con also noisy after a few minutes, Newer blocks of accommodation looked very nice and better than those in the main building. Breakfast adequate. We used room service. Located on outskirts of Naples and an expensive taxi ride into centre.

Peaceful hotel outside of the city
We stayed at the Montespina Park Hotel in July. It is west of Naples, sitting on a secluded hill. We really enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and staff were very friendly and more than happy to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it has a great pool that was never crowded. The hotel provided a wide range of breakfast options plus they made us a box breakfast to take away on one of our tours. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel out of busy Naples
I was happy to stay away the busy Naples, in a quiet place. Yes, it took 10 mins to the closest train station to get into the city, or to Puzzouli, but it worth - for me. The hotel is nice, room is comfortable, breakfast is great, WiFi was quite weak in our room.

Tired hotel but lovely people
I think this hotel was a 4 star at a time but it is no longer. The pool is lovely but the playground is falling to bits and the rooms are not what I would expect for a 4 star. Very clean and big but need a freshen up. The staff here are fabulous though - they can't do enough for you and really bent over backwards to make you happy.

We stayed for one week in August.You need a car.Great car parking and free.Pool beautiful.Staff very,very friendly and helpful.Breakfast good.Lunch in the bar by the pool good.Rooms and hotel,very clean.Lovely large garden/outside area.A sanctuary in the confusion of Naples! Brilliant Pizzeria just outside the front Entrance.Highly recommend all of this.Visited Pompeii,Herculaneum and the Camping Flegreii area.Solfatara excellent,much more interesting than Vesuvius in our opinion.Try speaking Italian and remember that of course everything is different in Italy .......that is the whole point of visiting another country!

A haven away from the bustle of inner city Naples with a gorgeous pool. Stayed with my son, who has disabilities, and a friend, as we wanted to go to Vesuvius, Roman sites, and La Solfatura, but needed somewhere to retreat to and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. This was perfect for us: not shabby, but not too posh either. Clean and comfortable rooms, great beds. The pool is exceptional, and we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. My son adored the pool and hotel, and can't wait to go back. We went almost everywhere by Metro and Train - good city transport links all the way from the hotel to Naples then south to the big sights (Pompeii etc.) Stuff to do nearby too. Bit of a trek into the city centre, and it's a slightly run down neighbourhood, but we traded this off against the relaxing grounds and pool (and the affordable price). Ate in the restaurant a few times, and it was fine - breakfast a hit all round (much cake) - and there's lots of good food nearby too, including a great pizzeria right on the hotel doorstep. Would go again, for sure, and recommend to unfussy travelers looking for an oasis and happy to travel a bit.

Nice hotel but a little bit tired 🤓
This hotel is lovely but quite isolated, it's a 15 minute walk downhill and across a few busy roads to the nearest metro station which links you quickly to pozoulli and the nearest ferry or to Naples and beyond. If you have a hire car then getting to and from the hotel is far easier. Taxis in Italy are a nightmare to source and also very expensive, buses and metro are far cheaper and easy to navigate although they don't really stick to their time tables. Overall this hotel gave us everything that we asked for, lovely breakfast each morning and staff that were extremely helpful. Finally there is an elevator that takes you to the bottom of the hotels drive that isn't advertised this rules out a further 10/20 minute walk ( up or down ) from the hotel gates to the hotel, so, ask reception to point it out for you.

We were expecting a room that reflected the photo graphs detailed on the Expedia website for a quadruple room. In fact the room initially allocated had a double bed a single bed and a sofa that had been set up as a bed, leaving very little floor space. The room also had very little natural light. Upon flagging this to the reception staff they stated that the room photos on the Expedia website reflected their superior quadruple rooms a we had booked a standard quad room and therefore been given such. One good point about the room was that it was located right next to th pool area. The hotel did however agree to move us to a quadruple room with two levels and consistent with the sales photos on theExpedia website.

Hotel was nice a bit far out therefore it was taxi everywhere the breakfast was a disgrace even though it was just continental how can u burn a boiled egg or green scrambled egg cause they where maybe cooked the night before and heated up in the morning the worst ever if u like cakes for breakfast u would be ok very poor

We had a great six days at the hotel with our daughter. She loved the pool and the room was great with it's own little terrace garden. Breakfast ok but very busy each morning but staff hardworking and very helpful. We did not use the restaurant as went out to eat in the evenings. Good location to do day trips from around Naples. Very close to zoo which my daughter enjoyed and small Carrefour supermarket.

Not a four-star hotel.
The staff at the Montespina was excellent. The poolside is beautiful and relaxing.The rooms are larger than most Italian hotel rooms. However, the rest of the stay was not anything I would recommend. The hotel is an older hotel in a run-down part of the city. It was still respected as there were multiple local groups that met there. The breakfast had canned fruit, no fresh fruit, with imitation scrambled eggs and salad. There were fresh pastries and yogurt. I would choose another hotel for my next visit.

Mix up but all is well that ends well
After a serious mix up with the booking and the owner telling us he was fully booked when we arrived , he agreed to allow us to use the pool all day and then take us to an alternative hotel , but later in the day he came back to us and said he had a room for us , it then became a perfect last day to our holiday

We stayed here for 2 nights mainly for the pool. The rooms are a bit old but clean, the air con does not work very well at all! Though the air con is not that big of a deal because the pool is fantastic. It big, clean and a good temperature with lots of sun chairs around it. One strange catch was you had to wear a bathing cap which you can buy there for 3euro. WiFi was very good! I would recommend Montespina for a stay, very relaxing!

Hotel is very clean, has a decent swimming pool, and a nice restaurant. The staff speaks English and are very welcoming. The room advertised a king size bed but in reality I found two beds put together. Service is very good.

Fantastic hotel for any type of stay
My wife and I chose the Montespina Park Hotel for our honeymoon hotel. We couldnt have asked for more. Very clean room, fantastic food (especially the breakfast) and an amazing pool! We would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area. It is perfectly located just a short taxi ride away from Naples, and if you are holidaying its a short drive to the nearest beaches. We were very impressed with everything. The staff were extremely friendly, and the rooms were always so clean. Whether you are looking to stay for business, holiday, or like us honeymoon it has everything. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and if we ever return to Naples, we will be staying at Montespina.
