"Excellent grounds a good at the restaurant and bar. Also excellent adult beverages! It was warm and no air conditioning, that was the only part that was not super."

"Room was clean, had everything we needed and had a balcony! Breakfast was a continental and hot food buffet. Dinner was beautiful and well priced. Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including library, snooker, pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdressers, spa and golf course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Lots of areas to sit and lounge/chill out. Disappointed that the rooftop bar that was so highly advertised was closed and padlocked. Yes the weather hasn't been great but it should still be an option for people when it has been advertised so much. Shower was one in the bath. You couldn't adjust the height and no pressure. Online said check in was 4pm but posters in the hotel said 3pm. Reception said "it just depends if we are busy" so probably best to phone and check. Check out is 11am. Usually when check in is 4, check out is 12."

"Great place to unwind after a week in rural Ireland. About 40 mins from the airport, we enjoyed the quiet & luxury. There is a walled garden & walk thru the woods just beyond that are worth checking out. "Two Bedroom House" that we stayed in feels like an upscale condo, nice bathroom, but be aware 2nd bath is a 1/2 bath on the 1st floor"

"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. Make sure you make dinner reservations well before you get there as the restaurants on property fill up quickly. The activities should also be booked well in advance. Many we wished to do were already booked out. We wanted to do the falcon lessons and whiskey tasting but they were not available. The horseback riding was quite fun and about 20 minutes away by taxi. "
