"The hotel itself is a little tired and dated but we could not fault the staff on the standards they keep. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious."

"I come from the US, where most hotels priced at this level will have a microwave. Not having one caused quite some amount of food to be thrown away. Reheating with a m/wave could have been very useful, including reheating tea / coffee. The restaurant also needs to have more vegetarian and vegan options."

"This hotel is fantastic! We had a family room which was one of the best I’ve stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the partitions made it feel like you had plenty of space. We had dinner in the bar and it was delicious. Very reasonably priced. We also were able to charge our electric car easily in the underground parking. We will definitely be back!"

"After staying in small hotels in Paris and London, the oversized room and bathroom were an absolute delight. Very clean. The bar off the lobby was fun. Great cocktails and a lively atmosphere. The location of the hotel was PERFECT. We loved the short drive to the castle, pubs, and restaurants."

"Read a few bad reviews about the property but we had a lovely stay. We were in the courtyard and the shower had hot water, the facilities worked fine, bed was comfy and the TV had Netflix, Disney, prime etc all included. The property also comes with its own Horse which says hello to you every morning."
