"Hotel was lovely and staff welcoming. Not great selection for food in bar... asked before arriving and when i was there if we could book table in bar for evening meal. Was told no. Then when we went that evening we were told that we mitnt get table as there were other bookings before us. Pool was good but very busy and noisy with kids swimming lessons on"

Carton House a Fairmont Managed Hotel

Carton House a Fairmont Managed Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The grounds of the property were beautiful. We did not golf, but both golf courses looked amazing. We used the tennis court and the spa facility which was also very nice. We had dinner at the Carriage House which was very good. The hotel was only 30 minutes from Dublin Airport so this is a great spot to stay if you want to avoid the city but you want to be close to the airport. We did not do this because we were only there for 1 night but the staff told us you can walk to town mostly through the property grounds and there were some good restaurant options in town."
