"First the good: Sharif was a kind and welcoming host. He lived in the US for a little while, which made him very easy to communicate with, both language-wise and culturally. When I was hungry in the evening after checkin, he went out and got me bananas, which was very kind. Also, the location is indeed as close to the pyramids entrance as you can possibly be. Perfect for going to the pyramids. He also gave me great food recs. On the negative side, "

"The rooftop is magnificent and the pool area relaxing. Beds are good, but pillows too large and firm for me. Internet was working one of my three day trip. There’s no public transportation for tourist near this hotel. Cabs. The street is noisy with cars, horses and camels. Staff were inattentive to details and as a solo traveler it was difficult to get the care provided to a couple or group. "
