Location of the hotel is in the middle of Balcon de Europa, best place in Nerja. The price I paid was excellent. The staff regularly clean the room. The place is not modern but clean.

Great location and value. Right in the centre, everywhere is walkable. Hotel is clean, tidy and great staff.

Clean room with a great shower ensuite. Entry by swipe is good. All staff friendly and helpful. Some facilities limited owing to time of year. Wonderful location on the Balcon de Europa with one beach very close by for swimming. Excellent location also for eateries.... again friendly service, used to visitors. I requested an extra pillow and kettle... Voila! No sooner requested than appeared. I really do recommend this value for money hotel.

Excellent location , waking distance from lovely beaches and ample restaurants and bars. Staff were extremely helpful with arranging transfers and offering directions. Breakfast was average and it was a case of if your'e not down early everything is gone, however the waiters do try and accommodate your needs were possible. Rooms were clean and changed daily if requested.

This Hotel is between the Church and the Balcon. While the hotel is basic it is such ideally situated that you are right on top of all the amenities such as bars,restaurants and shops. The balcony opened up on the square so we were able to watch the religious processions and weddings. The Hotel is very clean and the shower was good. Breakfast was basic and adequate if a little limited in choice. All in all a nice lttle Hotel.

The location was excellent , right in the heart of balcon d'europe , busy and lively, the room was average but adequate , dissappointed that the room did not have at least a small fridge, some staff were pleasant and friendly , a couple were rude and ignorant, the coffee machine at breakfast was broken for a couple of days leaving staff to make the coffees behind the bar , the young lady when asked tutted and shook her head , she clearly did not want to make the coffees, when i asked for a second cup of coffee she angrily said " NO" i was astounded !!

It does not get more central in Nerja than this hotel - the location is great; on the Balcon d'europa and by a central public beach. The sound insulation was still good considering the central location in the middle of the town's hub.The rooms were comfortable. I personally found the bathrooms neglected and dirty - there was plenty of mildew which was disappointing. I also did not like the entrance of the hotel as it felt more like entering a messy bar / restaurant rather than a hotel lobby.

Liked our stay so we decided to extend the visit. This was a bit difficult to do without regular staff at the hotel and only intetnet booking. Got it figured out with an acquaintance who lives in Spain who was able to call the hostal to confirm the extension. Had to pay a bit extra to stay in the same room (due to internet bookiking issues). Super location. Hope to retun for another visit.

Worst Service ever!!
I was booked to pay at the hotel. You took money before I arrived and I suffered a fee from my UK bank. No one was there to check us in. It was chaos. We were not told that the hotel was not open on 1st & 2nd January. Therefore we could not pay the balance, and you tried to use the same charge again!! We got help from Tobos Apart reception opposite but the service from your administration was the worst I have ever found. I would never stay with you again and will tell all my friends that on social media. Your failures cost me extra money. We were in a party of 24 who come to Nerja regularly and they were shocked by your poor service.

Best position in Nerja
We were given room 211 at first and it was small and very dated they changed us to room 210 which was much better. The position of the Marissal is best in Nerja, the bar and cafe are good. We found that the bed and pillows very comfortable. The walk in shower was great, we had no view at all but this didn't bother us. Our son and partner had room 207 with a view onto the square and really enjoyed their stay.
