Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. "This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! "

"We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. "

"We liked the location by the stream, even though the highway is close by its nice to just sit outside and listent o the stream and watch the birds and the ducks in the stream. The rental was decent. No major complaints other than the AC is a bit lacking, and the wifi did not work, The bed was super comfortable, and the rental size is perfect for a couple. Would definitely stay again."
