"We were greeted by a man in a tattered sweatshirt in the main house. Then We were taken to the room in a carriage house across a dark parking lot. There were no lights in the entry and there was an sunken entry to the room we nearly fell into the room. There were remains from the previous logger including dirty glasses and trash. It was dark and dingy. We had stayed in the main house 3-4 years earlier and went to look at an available room there. The hall carpets were stained and in bad shape,...

"Staying in a historical hotel was awsome, the stairs, wallpaper in hallway and old elegance of it was really nice. It was clean and nice. No frills. Don't expect luxury amenities as it's not expected but nice bedding, clean room and comfortable. Remember, you're staying in a part of history. That was cool. Also, try restaurant on bottom floor, it was excellent food. "
