Although I did like this hotel, staff at front desk always very friendly and helpful, there were a few things the hotel could improve upon. The towels were rough/hard on the skin (seemed old, used/washed too many times), highly recommend replacing. Carpet in room could use a refresh along with curtains (had coffee stains). My bed was very lumpy, maybe time to flip bed.

Our most recent stay was excellent. Very pleasant staff. Great afternoon snack menu and drinks. Location to Pier 17 is superb. Our room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and look forward to our next stay. Parking is a short block away and the hotel validates. Nice breakfast menu, avocado toast was delicious and the breakfast sandwich is also a good choice. The balcony view of the Brooklyn Bridge is special. Nice Location

It was nice. Convenient location. A few issues with our room but staff was attentive to fix. Would have liked to have a rooftop sitting area… Friendly staff!

Only quibbles is lack of minibar and lack of in hotel dining on Mondays and Tuesdays. Also, for safety, the stairs between the elevators desperately need railings. I nearly fell twice. Having said that, this hotel offered the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Incredible staff. And the dining was exceptional. Lovely wine hour. It would be my first choice if I ever need to return to NYC.
