First of all, I didn't stay at the Row NYC. They canceled my booking and I had to get other arrangements. Then they canceled and put me in the Millennium on Broadway. This hotel was nice, but had no air. Had to keep the windows open just to keep cool. It was close to the show we were going to so that was a plus. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Adding a small fridge and microwave would go a long way in adding amenities.

My holiday was cancelled a few weeks before I was due to go. Expedia offered a full refund on cancelllation, but then deducted 348 pounds for a cancellation they made. I’ve tried contacting on serveral different portss as is, but when I prove that they offer me a full refund with recording, they stop responding . Terrible company I will never use them again.

Row NYC 2022
Booked this ROW NYC in September for Dec 16-18 through Hotels.com. They were closed for rennovations and booked us at another hotel. I was never contacted or notified in any way! They said they notified Hotels.com. After many calls and frustrations I found out our reservation was transferred to Stewart Hotel. I had prepaid at ROW NYC but Stewart Hotel had not received payment. So disappointed we had to go through this. This was a special trip for my daughter and I to go to a show in NYC and we had paid for tickets, transportation etc. Everything worked out, but will probably not use Hotels.com again!

Received an email stating our hotel will need to be cancelled or we can have Row NYC schedule is a room somewhere else. Call was made numerous times in regards to where we were staying and they could not tell us. We were given 2 different addresses of hotels and finally was able to get the correct address which was the Manhattan hotel. Hotel front lobby was nice but the room was nasty. They put us in room 709 no tv in the room the outlets had no cover and the bathroom ceiling was falling in. Will never use hotel. com again. Very very disappointed.

Our room was nothing likebthe picutres was so outdated, curtains absolutely dirty, bed was probably 20 years old, peeling wall paper, dirty walls. Orbitz moved our room 3 tomes and this was what we got stuck with

Expedia emailed whilst boarding the plane on the day I travel to advise the hotel was not available so despite them keep sending me emails to review the hotel we didn’t actually stay there Expedia believe they do not need to offer me any compensation for the stress caused and the fact that they said I would have no feast day yet had to pay fees at the Crowne Plaza which was a mediocre property and one that I wouldn’t of chose to stay at I would never recommend using expedia again to anybody. As a regular traveller they are the worst travel agent ever and you’re best going with a reputable agent that you can actually speak to Expedia’s packages have lots of hidden extras and from experience are not available

Hotel stay
The hotel location was great walked everywhere. The room had no wash cloth had to call fromt desk we got the cloths in no time. Ask for a wake up call and no one called.

Good location, good price. Room was small but plenty big enough for 2 people. Though it felt like there were always 50 people in the lobby and cops/medics on the street outside the hotel.

I’ve stayed with this property multiple times now; the first time back in 2019 the hotel was fun, upbeat, and wonderful. This trip was an entirely different story. It’s dirty, the wallpaper is falling, the whole place smells of cigarette. I also came home from my trip to $450 of the xtra charges that no one is able to explain to me!! It is IMPOSSIBLE to connect with anyone. They always take your info, tell you someone will reach out in 24-48 hours, and nothing happens… I still have no idea what the charge is (as it’s not the resort fee since that’s an entirely different charge), and I can’t connect with anyone for information or to have it reversed. Incredibly unimpressed, do not recommend.

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in and shocked it has 4 stars. It looks like our room had not been vacuumed in months. The bathroom and bedroom were so small you had no place to open your luggage. The bathroom had mold and vanity wobbled when you touched it. The elevators were painful to use. We would get stuck on our floor with it saying no elevators available Over all it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend staying here.

When you arrive be prepared to pay an additional $40 for "resort fees" ????$100 dollar deposit ?? They didn't seem surprised. Very disappointed Roaches on walls & I think mice running through cooling system or walls. I had to clean bathroom prior to using. Spoke to Front desk their solution was -$40 (I didn't even ask for a refund.) Sheets were clean location was great but will not stay there again.

Expedia changed our hotel stay to a different location (Manhattan Time Square Hotel), and it was NOT good because the hotel didn't have a restaurant, a bar, and neither free continental breakfast, and besides that the reviews were much lower that the one I had chosen. And the hotel room was old, it looked like a one start hotel.

If you just want somewhere as a base, this is in a perfect location! 10 mins slow walk to Times Square, about half hour walk to Central Park, next to Broadway and right next to a subway station if you want to go further afield. On the edge of Hell's Kitchen so lots of dining opportunities (independents rather than chains) at a more reasonable price than the middle of Times Square.

I didn’t stay at the Row and was moved to the Manhattan Hotel at Times Square as the Row move my registration to this other hotel instead. I was very disappointed by the choice of hotel my reservation was moved to & will think twice before using Expedia to book a hotel again.

This hotel used to be one of our go-to places. It is now dated, crowded, and uncomfortable. The white spaces are dingy. The bar staff was lovely.
