There are several hotels in the area with "NoMad" in the name (including a famous luxury one). This isn't those. It's a strange arrangement, with multiple businesses and apparently even multiple hotel/rental companies in the same building. This one has "suites," but they're really small rooms with a kitchenette on one side of a small room with a bed and a "futon" that was really just a mattress sort of tossed on a frame. While the floors, sheets and towels are clean, the shower walls were slimy, the air vents were gray, and the only window was so opaque, you couldn't actually see outside. It had a "loft" (upper storage area) that was piled with wood and random things. Hallways were smeared, cracked and dirty, and you'll smell other people cooking. My biggest complaint: At $219 for a Friday night, it's not even a good deal. I could have gotten the nice hotel next door, the Hyatt Herald Square, for $229 and gotten much more value for $10 more. Best described as "sketchy" or "dodgy."
