"We gathered at Grindstone Mill for a special birthday celebration get-together and we all loved it immediately. It is a stunning house in a gorgeous, peaceful location, very spacious inside and with a gorgeous garden which we really enjoyed sitting and dining out in, lounging on the steamer chairs and playing boules on the lawn. There were lovely walks from the door which we enjoyed too. The kitchen and dining area were so spacious and well-equipped and we loved the huge drawing room. The master bedroom and en-suite were gorgeous and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent, it was so useful having so many showers. It was so lovely sitting out by the mill leet and watching the resident swan and ducks and other birds and the horses in the adjacent field. An absolutely idyllic house and location and we would love to return. We would not hesitate to recommend this property. If there was one thing that could add to the enjoyment of staying there, it would be to have a large sun umbrella over the table in the garden as this would enable it to be used even more, but it was great to have the bench over to one side in the shade and the smaller table on the back patio was very useful too and we really appreciated having garden seat cushions to use. An absolutely superb stay!"

"We had the most fantastic stay. The property is truly stunning and a perfect setting for a family reunion. The pool and hot tub made the trip! We were able to enjoy the warm weather and relax in the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen and house is greatly equipped for large groups and we couldn't fault it. We will definitely be back. "From the minute we booked, Antonia was fantastic with communication, really detailed instructions to find The Shed. On arrival, you can’t help but relax the minute you open the door. The biscuits bread milk and homemade jam were a really welcome gift. Comfortable bed, sofa and excellent shower together will all the cooking facilities we needed for the weekend.Excellent location and total peace and quiet except for the odd cow saying hello. Perfect position for glorious walks without needing to get in the car. Walking over the Ridge to a well deserved pint and Sunday Roast at The Old Spot in Dursley was amazing."

"We has a lovely weekend at Cotswolds house 5 families 5 teenager boys, it is a rural location but we went into Simwrk in Yate definitely worth visiting if going with kids that was a hit, the house was perfect to spend time catching up with everyone."

"Very comfortable cosy cottage which has been decorated with care. Good kitchen equipment and plenty of crockery which was nice so you still had some left when the dishwasher was on! We were also prepared for steep stairs and the upper level bedroom stairs are very steep! We bought some extra logs from the community shop which was brilliant and just up the road and had a cosy log fire on many of the evenings( as well as the central heating!) The shop was convenient for food supplies too. Some lovely walks from the cottage. Parking outside was fine but may have to find one further up the road if it's summer and you have two cars."
