Superb Accommodation & great value
We stayed here for a quick overnighter and was extremely impressed with the apartment. It was well presented, modern and immaculately clean, had a fridge, microwave and welcome pack which served us well. We brought our dog and there was plenty of space for all three of us to move around because the apartment was so large. Plenty of parking available at the Holiday Inn next door and we had breakfast there too which was handy. Used the metro to get into 'toon' and it was only a 3 minute walk away. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Having an aparthotel worked well for a week's stay, it gave more room than a hotel room and the option to self cater, access to a washing machine and dryer were also helpful. Despite it being on a main road there wasn't traffic noise in the room I was in however the air con and heat recovery unit on the external wall by the bed head were loud all night. Staff said they would look into this when I reported the issue on departure. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Good location - tired room
The suite is somehow associated with the Holiday Inn next door and the staff there were very helpful and accommodating. Having a good initial experience with the Holiday Inn our expectations of the suite next door were high. The location is very good with easy access to the trendy and lively Jesmond and Gosforth, the moor and also the Metro centre. Parking was also useful and free for guests. Sadly the room itself let the experience down. It is a good size space with a business desk and small kitchen. However the room was poorly maintained and very tired making lots of it unusable, eg the business desk was broken, the eating table had no chairs, the safe was not attached to anything. The room was quite knocked about and needed lots of low level maintenance to get it up to standard and definitely needed a new carpet and decor to refresh it to the standard it could be. I was concerned about security as the fire door right outside outside the room was continuously left open into a rear alleyway car park with no CCTV. The room door and French doors did not appear that secure either.

It was a great stay for me and my mum. The Check in was quick in easy. Had a bit of trouble turning on the heating but was quickly solved by the great staff members

The apartment needed a bit of TLC. It was quite tatty. One of the kitchen doors was hanging off. There was a constant sound from the pipes or air conditioning throughout the night. The hall and doorway into the building was scruffy. Good for metro. Breakfast was good.

Not bad at all
Lovely place and very spacious but some suspicious marks on towels and the cupboards were a bit battered. Very good for the price. Parking is by some bins at the back or in the holiday inn car park. Less than 5 minutes walk from the metro.

Underwhelming stay
Well located in Jesmond, free parking is brilliant. Property is in need of TLC - bathroom had grubby grout & shower seals, bedroom furniture scruffy & cheap, bedroom remote control missing. Only 2 mugs, glasses etc for a 2 double bed apartment. Sofa bed uncomfortable for 1 adult. Having stayed at the Holiday Inn next door previously I’ll be going back there in future!

Advantage of using car park & check in at Holiday Inn next door. Be aware the property comprises both no. 89 & 91through separate doors as that caused some confusion. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious in parts but with a small studio style kitchen alcove/bench which could benefit from some under-counter lighting, a normal size kettle, and a plug in the sink. Small space not really suitable to cook & questionable safety of electric points being so closed to the sink! Microwave was handy, although the mini dishwasher wasn’t really necessary as there weren’t enough cups, plates etc to fill it! The courtesy basket was okay although only left 2 items of water, biscuits for an apartment for up to 4-6 share? Plenty of hot water which was difficult to adjust to a lower shower temperature so be aware! However for 1 night stay, it worked for us due to it’s close location to the centre & albeit sitting on a busy road was fairly quiet once inside. The large window curtains needs to be checked so they could be closed tightly from the top to block out both light & draft. Would stay here again knowing what we know.

Booked the apart hotel again. Stay here nearly every week and they are decent. However this time on arrival they said they hadn't been cleaned and moved me into the holiday inn itself. The room given was appalling and no where near as nice as the apartments. Was offered a 50% refund which I thought was fair and so decided to stay otherwise would have gone elsewhere. However manager next morning did not refund and said was going to look into it. Contacted hotels.com about this also and still waiting for a reply. Let down for the 2nd time here now and it's a shame because the apartments are really nice.

Quite good!
Although we were happy with the property, we had no idea that we had to check in next door at the Holiday Inn and wasted some time hanging around outside until a passerby helped us. Perhaps a note could be placed on the door. Although the apartment was nicely decorated, the sofa was incredibly hard and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable as it provided no support. And finally the property would have benefited from better sound proofing from traffic noise.

Stay at the apart hotel quite regularly and unfortunately this time I was greeted by a big spider on the bed, not a big issue but we lost it in the bed and Mrs has a phobia with them. Told reception who did change my room but instead of apologising the woman (maybe manager) did say 'well there might be a spider in your new room' which wasn't very unprofessional at all. Apart from this rooms are decent and everything works fine.

Overpriced at best.
Did not receive the room we bokked and reception were not that helpful. Disappointed. No sofa bed as booked. No hob as booked. No batbtubas booked. Incomplete toiletries and refreshments. Smelly fridge. Main doir was never locked so not secure.

I liked everything about this apartment the only down side for me was we had the deluxe studio and it was right at the top of the house loads of stairs to climb but everything else was excellent
